“Rivanol 0.1% is a liquid for application to the skin. Rivanol 0.1% contains the active ingredient ethacridine lactate, which belongs to the group of acridine dyes with antibacterial properties. Ethacridine lactate is active against streptococci, staphylococci and other gram-positive bacteria.
Compound
1 g of skin liquid contains 1 mg of ethacridine lactate (Ethacridinilactas). Excipients – see section 6.1.
Dosage
The drug is intended for topical use on the skin.
Rivanol 0.1% is used several times a day in the form of compresses, dips and rinses.
Children
There are no data on use in children.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used:
– if you are hypersensitive to ethacridine lactate or acridine dyes, – orally, – for the eyes.”
