“Application:
Tasectan is a medical device used to restore the physiological functions of the intestinal walls. Its operating time is 12 hours. The product contains gelatin tannate, which is not transformed in the stomach and works by creating a layer that protects the intestinal mucosa, reducing the frequency and duration of diarrhea.
Composition:
250 mg gelatin tannate (pork origin).
Instructions for use:
The contents of one sachet should be mixed with a small amount of a not too hot drink such as milk, fruit juice or water and administered immediately. You can also add it to yogurt or any other food. The product should not be administered directly without mixing it with food.
Dosage:
Children under 3 years of age: 1 sachet every 6 hours until symptoms disappear
Children aged 3 to 14 years: 1–2 sachets every 6 hours until symptoms disappear.
Warnings:
Medical consultation before using this product is not necessary, but is recommended in case of severe or persistent symptoms or in case of doubt about the diagnosis of the disease.
In the case of diarrhea in children under 3 years of age and the elderly, medical consultation is recommended, especially if other symptoms coexist.
The use of this medical device does not constitute pharmacological treatment. If such treatment is recommended by a medical professional, this medical device can be used simultaneously with pharmacological treatment.

Contraindications:
Tasectan should not be used in people with known hypersensitivity to gelatin tannate or any other ingredients of the product.
