“gel for topical use on the skin for the external treatment of acne (acne vulgaris) – acne.
The use of Akneroxide 5 has 3 main therapeutic effects:
1. Peeling – removing calluses from the mouth of the follicle ensures the outflow of sebum from the sebaceous glands.
2. Antibacterial – limits the growth of Propionibacterium Acnes, which is partly responsible for the frequent appearance of acne and the development of local inflammation.
3. Removes sebum from the surface of the skin, which is always in excess in acne patients.
The peeling effect of Akneroxide 5 is often accompanied by mild skin irritation. However, when using the gel base of the drug, this unpleasant effect is minimized and the drug is very well tolerated by the vast majority of patients.
Akneroxide 5 is used for topical treatment of acne vulgaris.
Akneroxide 5 should not come into contact with the eyes and should not be applied to mucous membranes, corners of the mouth, nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes or splashes on mucous membranes, immediately rinse them with warm water and seek medical attention. During treatment with Acne Oxide 5, the affected areas should not be exposed to UV radiation (solarium) or sunbathing.
Akneroxide 5 has a lightening effect and should not be used on or near eyebrows, beards and hair. Due to its bleaching effect, it should not come into contact with colored fabrics.
Do not use other topical peels or abrasives during Acne Oxide 5 treatment.
Application and dosage:
The affected areas are wiped with a thin layer of gel 1-2 times a day after thoroughly washing the affected areas with water and non-irritating soap.
For patients with particularly sensitive skin, it is recommended to use the gel only once a day in the evening at the beginning of treatment.
Patients with neurodermatitis (an inflammatory skin disease accompanied by severe itching of pimples), dry skin and sebum production can use Acne Oxide 5 only after consulting a doctor.
Experience has shown that the average treatment time is 4-10 weeks. If you need to use Acne Oxide 5 for more than 10 weeks, talk to your doctor about further appropriate treatment.
