“Compound:
uroFuragin Max contains 100 mg of furazidin (Furazidin), previously used name: furagin.
Excipient with known effect: lactose monohydrate in the amount of 129 mg.
Indications:
Lower urinary tract infection.
Dosage
Adults and teenagers over 15 years old.
On the first day of use: 400 mg per day in 4 divided doses; in subsequent days: 300 mg per day in 3 divided doses. Treatment usually lasts 7–8 days.
Children and teenagers under 15 years of age.
The drug uroFuragin Max should not be used in children and adolescents under 15 years of age.
Mode of application.
The drug is administered orally.
The drug uroFuragin Max should be taken with food. At the same time, follow a diet rich in protein. The product should be taken with plenty of liquid.
Contraindications:
· Hypersensitivity to the active substance, other nitrofuran derivatives or any of the excipients.
· In the first trimester of pregnancy.
· During full-term pregnancy (from 38 weeks) and childbirth due to the risk of developing hemolytic anemia in the newborn.
· In children and adolescents under 15 years of age.
· Renal failure (creatinine clearance below 60 ml/min or increased serum creatinine concentration).
· Diagnosed polyneuropathy, such as diabetic.
· Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.”
