The active substances are phospholipids from soybeans (Phospholipidum essentiale).
One hard capsule contains 300 mg of soy phospholipids.
Excipients: soybean oil, hardened fat, vanillin.
Capsule composition: gelatin, indigo carmine (E 132), red iron oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171), yellow iron oxide (E 172).
Dosage
Usual Adult Dose:
2 capsules 3 times a day.
Do not take more than 6 capsules per day.
After 2–3 months of treatment, use a maintenance dose of 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Usual Dose for Children and Infants:
In infants, the dose should be 300 mg per 10 kg of body weight. (1 capsule per 10 kg body weight).
In children, the dose should be 300 mg/10 kg. in a day.
On average, take 3 to 6 capsules (900 to 1800 mg) daily.
Do not take more than 6 capsules per day (1800 mg).
Additional Information:
The medicine should be taken orally with meals.
The contents of the capsule can be squeezed out and given in a small amount of warm milk or water. This way you can give medicine to a child who cannot swallow the capsule.
The medicine should be taken for at least 3 months.

Action
The soybean phospholipids contained in the preparation have the ability to integrate into cell membranes and membranes of cellular organelles, where they replace endogenous phospholipids, which constitute their main structural and functional element, and have a special affinity for liver cells. The product is supposed to work by restoring the proper structure and function of damaged cell membranes and replenishing deficiencies of membrane phospholipids. The result is an improvement in the fluidity, elasticity, flexibility, stability and permeability of cell membranes, achieved by increasing the amount of unsaturated fatty acids in their structure.

Esseliv forte is used:
Acute and chronic liver diseases, including:
alcohol-related liver damage;
toxic and drug-induced liver damage;
chronic hepatitis.
Supports the treatment of functional disorders of the liver, bile ducts and gallstones.
Contraindications
Esseliv Forte should not be taken if you are allergic to soybeans or other ingredients of the drug.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Uncommon side effects (affect 1 to 10 people in 1000):
mild gastrointestinal symptoms: nausea, loose stools, abdominal discomfort.
