The medical device “Opokan Med” in the form of warming patches is glued directly to the skin at the site of muscle pain. In older people or in cases of low heat tolerance – on clothing directly adjacent to the body. The feeling of warmth and relief comes immediately. The patch warms, relaxes tense, aching muscles, increases local blood circulation and relieves pain. The patch acts directly on the site of pain. The patch can be used alone or in combination with oral pain medications.
Indications
Opokan Med warming patches effectively relax and bring relief:

neuralgia,
rheumatic and joint pain,
reduces inflammation.
How to use a medical device
Make sure the skin is clean, dry and free of oil.
Immediately before use, carefully tear the sachet and remove the patch.
Remove the tape securing the adhesive portion of the patch and immediately apply the patch to the area of pain.
The patch will gradually warm up to a pleasant, soothing temperature (about 50°C).
The patch stays firmly in place.
The patch is disposable and is intended for external use only.
The patch can be kept on the skin for up to 12 hours.
During use, monitor the condition of the skin. If you notice irritation, swelling or redness of the skin, remove the patch immediately.
If you feel the temperature is too high, stop using.
Do not apply additional pressure or apply a bandage to tighten the patch.
For people with low heat tolerance, apply the patch only to clothing directly adjacent to the body.
In older adults, use the patch only on clothing directly adjacent to the body.
Contraindications and precautions
Do not use on sore, irritated, chapped, damaged skin, after an injury, or while swimming.
Do not use on skin with subcutaneous hemorrhages or swelling. Do not use on areas of the body with impaired sensitivity to heat.
Remove the patch immediately if you notice intense heat at the application site (when the perceived temperature is too high) or if skin irritation, redness, burning, or swelling occurs.
If the skin’s thermal tolerance is low, the patch should be applied to underwear or a layer of clothing (especially for older people).
Do not use by people who cannot fully follow the instructions for use or remove the patch themselves, especially children and the elderly.
Do not use the patch on children under 12 years of age.
Do not use a patch that has mechanical damage.
If the contents of a damaged patch come into contact with your eyes or skin, immediately rinse the area with water.
Do not heat the used patch in any other way (for example, in a microwave oven).
Avoid direct exposure of the patch to the sun.
The patch should not be used at the site of infection, or concomitantly with other medications applied topically to the skin (for example, analgesics, warming agents, etc.), or with other heat-producing agents.
Do not use the patch in the same place. However, if necessary, another patch can be applied to the same area after 24 hours.
Do not use the patch while sleeping.
Do not apply additional pressure to the patch.
Do not place a patch on top of another patch.
If you have arthritis, pregnancy, skin diseases, diabetes, circulatory problems, or heart disease, consult your doctor before using the patch.
Heating foods may cause burns. The risk of burns increases with age.
Store in a place protected from light, at room temperature, dry and out of reach of small children.”
