“Compound
1 tablet contains ibuprofen 200 mg.
Excipients: hypromellose, sodium carboxymethyl starch type A, corn starch, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, acacia gum, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), a mixture of white beeswax and carnauba wax (Capol 1295).
Dosage
The drug is taken orally with tablets coated with water.
The recommended dosage of Ibuprofen Aflofarm for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1-2 tablets orally every 4-6 hours after meals. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets.
Do not use the medicine for longer without consulting a doctor: 5 days if pain occurs; 3 days for fever and up to 2 days for colds or flu.
Action
Ibuprofen Aflofarm has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Indications
Ibuprofen Aflofarm is used for pain of various etiologies of mild to moderate intensity, including: headaches, migraines, toothache, muscle pain, lumbosacral pain, osteoarticular pain, neuralgia and dysmenorrhea. Ibuprofen Aflofarm is also indicated for use for fever (including flu, colds and other infectious diseases).
Contraindications
The medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
Ibuprofen Aflofarm should not be used:
if you are hypersensitive to ibuprofen or any of the excipients of the drug
in people who, after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs, have experienced allergy symptoms such as runny nose, urticaria or bronchial asthma,
in people with a history of active gastric or duodenal ulcers, perforation, or bleeding
in people with severe liver failure, severe renal failure or severe heart failure,
in people taking other anti-inflammatory drugs, including COX-2 inhibitors,
in the third trimester of pregnancy,
in people with bleeding disorders.”
