Dosage
We use it externally on the skin. Always use this medication exactly as directed on the package or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Children 1 to 11 years of age, adolescents and adults: Apply a small amount of ointment around the nostrils 2–4 times daily.
If symptoms worsen while taking this drug or persist for more than 1 week, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Action
The ointment has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. Marjoram ointment improves the patency of the nasal passages, reduces inflammation of the skin and nasal mucosa.
Indications
Marjoram ointment is used as an adjuvant for inflammation of the nasal mucosa (runny nose).
Contraindications
The drug should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active substance or any of the ingredients of the drug.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Warnings and Precautions
The drug should not be injected deep into the nostrils, since the ointment base inhibits the functioning of the ciliary apparatus of the mucous membrane.
If you notice symptoms of a skin infection while using this medication, consult your doctor or qualified healthcare professional.
Contact with eyes after application with unwashed hands may cause irritation. This medicine contains 769 mg of alcohol (ethanol) per 10 g of ointment. May cause burns to damaged skin.
Store in a closed container at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, protected from light.
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
Taking other medications
