Therapeutic indications
Symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency; states of capillary fragility.
Dosage and method of use
One tablet or the content of one sachet of ALVENEX twice a day, at regular intervals, unless otherwise prescribed. Method of administration Tablets : swallow the tablet with the help of a modest amount of water. Powder for oral suspension : by shaking, disperse the contents of one sachet in a little water (about half a glass).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects
The use of ALVENEX at the recommended doses in therapy rarely gives rise to side effects. However, rare cases of gastralgia, nausea, diarrhea and dizziness are reported, always mild and such as not to require interruption of treatment.

Special warnings
There are no special precautions for the use of ALVENEX. For ALVENEX 450 mg powder for oral suspension: Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The safety of the drug in pregnancy has not been determined; therefore it is advisable not to administer the medicine during pregnancy.
Expiration and retention
No special storage precautions.
Interactions with other drugs
No particular interactions have been detected so far. No interaction studies have been performed.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported.
