Artisial is a medicine used in cases of salivary disorders and dry mouth. It is particularly indicated in hyposialia (reduction in salivary flow) or asialia (absence of salivary secretions), more precisely those which are secondary to irradiation of the upper aerodigestive tract.
Its active substances are potassium chloride, at a rate of 6.2450 mg, sodium chloride at a rate of 8.6550 mg, magnesium chloride, at a rate of 0.5875 mg, calcium chloride, at a rate of 1.6625 mg, dipotassium phosphate, at a rate of 8.0325 mg and monopotassium phosphate, at a rate of 3.2600 mg.
The other ingredients are Sorbitol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water while the pressurizing gas is sterile nitrogen.
