“Compound
The active ingredient of the drug is chlorquinaldol (Chlorquinaldolum).
One lozenge contains 2 mg of chloroquinaldol.
Excipients: citric acid monohydrate, sucrose, carmellose sodium, talc, magnesium stearate.
Dosage
Chlorquinaldine VP is usually used 1 lozenge every 1 – 2 hours, but not more than 10.
Do not chew the tablets.
Indications
Chlorquinaldine VP is used topically for:
bacterial infections of the mouth and gums,
if you have oral thrush,
fungal infections of the mouth and throat after treatment with antibiotics.
Contraindications
Do not use Chlorquinaldine VP if you are allergic to Chlorquinaldol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Store at temperatures below 25°C.
Store in original packaging to protect from light and moisture.
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
Taking other medications
Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking, have recently taken, or plan to take.
The effect of the drug is weakened by metal and iodine compounds.
Taking the medicine with food and drink
The medicine should not be taken with food.
