“Ginkofar EXTRA contains a quantitative extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves, which improves blood flow in the brain, dilates blood vessels and prevents platelet aggregation. The active ingredients of the extract are flavonoid glycosides, gingolides and bilobalides. Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains 240 mg of Ginkgonis extractum siccum raffinatum et quantificatum – quantitative dry extract of Ginkgo biloba L., folium (ginkgo leaf) (35-67:1), which corresponds to:
from 52.8 to 64.8 mg of flavonoids, expressed as flavonoid glycosides,
from 6.72 to 8.16 mg ginkgolides A, B and C,
from 6.24 to 7.68 mg bilobalide,
Solvent used for first extraction: acetone 65% v/v.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate.
The product is indicated for use in adults.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Pregnancy
The medicinal product contains lactose monohydrate and should not be used in patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
How to use:
Adults:
The recommended dose for adults is 1 tablet per day.
Children and teenagers:
Ginkofar EXTRA should not be used in children and adolescents.
Ginkofar EXTRA is taken orally. The tablets should be swallowed with a small amount of water. They can be taken with or without food.
Duration of use:
Treatment should last at least 8 weeks. If after 3 months of using the drug there is no improvement or symptoms worsen, consult your doctor to determine whether continued treatment is warranted.”
