“Compound
Active ingredient: one tablet contains 100 mg of trimebutine maleate.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, crospovidone, magnesium stearate.
Indications for use
– Irritable bowel syndrome.
– Functional disorders of the digestive tract, accompanied by abdominal pain, cramps, a feeling of fullness, flatulence, constipation or diarrhea.
Directions for use and doses
Adults: 1 tablet 3 times a day before meals.
In exceptional cases, the doctor may increase the dose to 6 tablets per day, dividing them into doses.
Use in children and adolescents
Children and adolescents over 12 years of age: TRIBUX® can be used in children at a dose not exceeding 6 mg/kg body weight per day.
Children under 12 years of age: The use of TRIBUX® in this age group is not recommended (see section “Use of TRIBUX® in children and adolescents”)
Mode of application
The tablets should be swallowed whole, without chewing, with a glass of boiled water.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
There is not enough data on the use of trimebutine during pregnancy, so the use of TRIBUX® in the first trimester of pregnancy is not recommended. The medicine can be used in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy only if absolutely necessary.
TRIBUX® can be used by breastfeeding women only when absolutely necessary.
