Areas of application
The drug is a drug for the treatment of vaginal fungal infections. .
The drug is used for:
infectious discharge caused by yeast.
Inflammation of the vagina due to fungi, mainly yeast fungi of the genus Candida.
overlapping infections (superinfections) with bacteria sensitive to clotrimazole.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
For infections of the labia (candidal vulvitis) and adjacent areas, apply the cream 1 to 3 times a day to the affected areas of the skin (from the external genitalia to the anus).
When using a vaginal tablet: Pass the vaginal tablets, preferably inserted in the evening as deep into the vagina as possible.
Duration of use
Vaginal tablets:
Usually one dose is enough to get rid of the fungal infection. However, if necessary, a second treatment may be prescribed.
In general, signs of vaginal inflammation caused by fungi (e.g. itching, discharge, burning) are significantly reduced during the first four days after treatment. i.e. symptoms may persist for several days after taking a single dose. If symptoms do not improve after 4 days, consult a doctor.
Cream:
Total duration of cream therapy – candidal vulvitis. 1-2 weeks.
Contraindications
Do not use the drug if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient clotrimazole or any other ingredient.”
