Carnitene oral solution is indicated in the treatment of primary and secondary carnitine deficiency.
Dosage and dosage
Carnitene oral solution should be taken in the following doses and regimens. For primary deficiencies and deficiencies secondary to genetic diseases, the daily oral dose depends on age and weight: from 0 to 2 years, 150 mg per kg of body weight is recommended, from 2 to 6 years – 100 mg per kg, from 6 up to 12 years old. years 75 mg per kg; over 12 years of age and adults 2–4 grams, depending on the severity of the disease and the doctor’s decision. For deficiency secondary to hemodialysis, the dose is 2–4 grams per day. Oral solutions should be taken only after dilution; the solution in single-dose containers should be diluted in a glass of water.”
