Application areas
The drug is an antiallergic agent.
The medicine is indicated for adults and children aged 6 years and older.
Relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
Relief of chronic urticaria (chronic idiopathic urticaria).
Dosage
Adults and young people over 12 years of age
Recommended dose: 10 mg once a day, 1 tablet.
Children 6 to 12 years old
The recommended dose is 5 mg twice daily, half a tablet twice daily.
Other dosage forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Patients with kidney failure
Patients with moderate kidney failure are recommended to take 5 mg once daily.
Contraindications
You should not take this medicine
if you have severe kidney disease (severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min),
if you are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, any other ingredients of this medicine, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives (closely related active ingredients of other medicines).”
