“COTYLENA is a broad-spectrum antifungal (used to treat fungal/yeast/infections) in adults.
On the recommendation of a doctor, the product can also be used in children aged 2 years and older.
COTILEN is used to treat infections of the skin and mucous membranes caused by yeast, fungi and some bacteria.
This is about:
Fungal diseases (dermatomycosis), which most often occur in easily inflamed areas (in the folds of the skin): between the toes (tinea pedis), in the groin area (tinea inguinalis), on the torso (tinea corporis), on the hands (tinea pedis). manuum). They manifest themselves as redness, itching, sometimes flaking of the skin or even painful cracks in the skin.
Tinea versicolor – usually appears as scaly, non-itchy patches on the chest or back.
Erythrasma – manifests itself as brownish-red, slightly scaly, sharply defined, non-itching spots or spots in the area of skin folds or between the fingers.
If you do not feel better within 14 days or your symptoms worsen, you should contact your doctor.
Warnings and Precautions:
Use deodorants or other cosmetics on affected areas of the skin only after consulting your doctor, as there is no risk that these products will reduce the effectiveness of COTYLENA.
Children and teenagers:
The product can also be used by children aged 2 years and older, as well as adolescents. However, before using the drug in children and adolescents, consult your doctor.
Application and dosage:
Before each use of COTYLENA, the affected area should be thoroughly washed and dried.
Spray a thin layer of the solution onto the affected areas of the skin by pressing the sprayer once or twice. This is also sufficient for large-scale fungal infections. Use the product 2-3 times a day.
Before first use, squeeze the sprayer 1 or 2 times to prime the sprayer pump. Spray the affected area from a distance of 10 to 30 cm.
How long has the product been used?
For successful treatment, regular and sufficiently long-term use of the solution is necessary. The duration of treatment varies depending on the extent and location of the affected skin.
With fungal diseases, symptoms may improve quickly, but to prevent relapse of the disease, it is necessary to continue treatment with COTYLENA even after the symptoms have subsided for about 2 weeks, after all signs of the disease have disappeared.
The usual duration of treatment is 3-4 weeks for fungal skin diseases (dermatomycosis), 2-4 weeks for erythrasma and up to 3 weeks for lichen versicolor.
If your condition does not improve or worsens within 14 days, contact your doctor.
Do not take this medicine for more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor, even if the problem has partially resolved.
