Dacryoserum is a local antiseptic intended for eye washing in case of conjunctival irritation .
Its active substance is borax, dosed at 1.20 g, and boric acid, dosed at 1.80 g per 100 ml of ophthalmic solution.
The other components of its formula are sodium chloride, distilled rose water and purified water.
Dosage of Dacryoserum
The generally recommended dosage is 1 to 3 eye washes per day.
The single-dose container should be used immediately after opening and can be used to treat both eyes. However, you should not reuse an already opened single-dose container, but throw it away immediately after use. A compress can be used to collect the solution that has leaked.
In the event of an overdose of the product, you should rinse with sterile physiological saline, while informing your doctor or pharmacist.
