3.25 g Indian psyllium husk

Applications
It is used:
– for long-term (chronic) constipation (constipation),
– for diseases in which easier bowel movement with soft stool is desirable, for example, with ruptures of the skin of the anal canal (anal fissures), hemorrhoids, after operations in the rectum,
– for maintenance treatment of diarrhea of various causes,
– for irritable bowel syndrome.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over take a level measuring spoon 2-3 times daily after mixing with plenty of liquid (at least 150 ml).
For maintenance therapy in diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over take a level measuring spoon 2 to 6 times daily after mixing with plenty of liquid (at least 150 ml).
Duration of treatment: In case of persistent constipation and irregular bowel movements for more than 1 week or diarrhea that lasts more than 2 days or is accompanied by blood or fever, consult a doctor.
Contraindications
This medicine should not be taken,
– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to flea seeds (Plantago, Psyllium) or any other ingredient of the drug,
– in severe cases of stool hardening (stones in the stool, stool accumulation),
– in case of discomfort and pain in the abdomen, nausea and vomiting until the cause is determined by the doctor,
– after a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts more than 2 weeks,
– after taking a laxative without defecation,
– if blood has passed the anus / anus,
– with difficulty swallowing and nausea,
– with pathological narrowing of the esophagus, the entrance to the stomach or in the gastrointestinal tract,
– with threatened or existing intestinal obstruction (intestinal obstruction) or pathological enlargement of the colon (megacolon syndrome),
– with disturbances in the water-salt balance (electrolyte balance),
– for diseases, which are associated with restriction of fluid intake, – for difficult to control forms of diabetes.”
