Drill Sugar Free Lozenges are a medication composed of a local anesthetic and a local antiseptic . It is used to treat sore throats when they are mild and without fever. It is also indicated to treat mouth ulcers and small wounds in the mouth . Its use should be short-term (5 days), and is reserved for adults and children over 6 years old.
The active ingredients in this lozenge are chlorhexidine digluconate (3,000 mg) in the form of a 20 percent chlorhexidine digluconate solution and tetracaine hydrochloride (0.200 mg) for one lozenge.
The other ingredients are ascorbic acid, a poppy flavor, a pulmoral flavor, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, lubricant, aspartame and isomalt.
This lozenge is formulated without sugar, it is suitable for diabetic patients.
