The active ingredients of the drug are a thick extract of chamomile, calendula, coltsfoot leaves, oak bark, sage leaf, thyme herb, essential oils (mint and chamomile), allantoin.
Excipients: lidocaine hydrochloride, sodium benzoate E211, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, bronopol, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate E214, purified water.
Dosage
Adults and teenagers over 12 years old
Mucosit should be used immediately after brushing your teeth.
Rub 1-2 cm of gel into the gums 2-3 times a day for 3 minutes with your fingertips or a soft brush.
The gel can also be applied using cotton swabs.
Action
Thanks to its complex composition, Mucosit has a multidirectional effect:
astringent,
anti-inflammatory agent,
antibacterial
local anesthetics,
acceleration of granulation and wound healing.
Indications
The drug is intended for local use on the oral mucosa as an adjuvant in the treatment of periodontal diseases and inflammation of the oral cavity (for example, bedsores after dentures).
In conditions following periodontal surgery, the product can only be used as directed by a dentist.
Contraindications
When not to use Mucosit:
if you are allergic to the active substances or any component of the drug,
with hypersensitivity to plants of the family Asteraceae (formerly Compositae, for example, chamomile) or Lamiaceae (formerly Labiatae),
if the patient is allergic to amide local anesthetics, such as lidocaine.”
