Active ingredient: hyoscine butyl bromide.
1 film-coated tablet contains hyoscine butyl bromide (Hyoscinibutylbromidum) 10 mg.
Excipients: potato starch, lactose monohydrate, gum arabic, sucrose, talc, magnesium stearate.
Dosage
The drug is intended for oral and emergency use.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1–2 sugar-coated tablets orally, 3–5 times a day.
Children from 6 to 12 years old: 1 sugar-coated tablet orally 2 times a day.
Action
Scopolan has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the digestive tract, biliary tract and genitourinary system.
Indications
pain in the gastrointestinal tract (stomach spasms, intestinal colic, irritable bowel syndrome), biliary tract (biliary colic),
pain in the genitourinary system (renal colic, painful menstruation, spasms associated with ureteral stones).
Contraindications
When you should not use Scopolan:
hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients,
if you are allergic to tropane alkaloids (for example, atropine) and their derivatives,
if the patient has narrow-angle glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia, atonic constipation, paralytic ileus, narrowing of the esophagus, cardia or pylorus, narrowing of the bladder neck, tachycardia, muscle numbness, pathological dilatation of the colon,
Do not use in children under 6 years of age.”
