The drug Hexomedine is a local antiseptic solution used in the antisepsis of small superficial wounds or those exposed to a risk of infection.
The antiseptic contained in Hexomedine belongs to the family of diamidines. For 100 ml of solution, Hexomedine contains 0.10 g of hexamidine diisostemonate, through bottles of 45 or 250 ml.
The other components are alcohol, acetic acid, sodium acetate, purified water.
Dosage of Hexomedine antiseptic solution
Hexomédine is applied topically, used pure, in a wet dressing or in local baths, 2 to 3 times a day. Hexomédine can also be used as a spray and does not require rinsing after application.
After opening, microbial contamination may develop, so avoid keeping the bottle of Hexomédine for too long.
