The medicine Hextril is an antiseptic mouthwash used in the local adjunctive treatment of mouth conditions.
The active substance is hexetidine 0.1000 g for a 100 ml bottle .
The other ingredients are : polysorbate 60, sodium saccharin, methyl salicylate, clove essential oil, menthol, anise, peppermint, eucalyptus essential oil, azorubine 85% (E 122), citric acid monohydrate, ethanol 96%, purified water.
Excipients with known effect: azo dye (azorubine E122), ethanol 96° (5.37 ml of alcohol per 100 ml, or 0.80 ml of alcohol per 15 ml measuring cup).
