Ibufen Baby in the form of rectal suppositories is intended for children from 2 years of age. The main ingredient is ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and has an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Dosage

Ibufen Baby suppositories are intended for rectal administration. The recommended dosage for children aged 2-4 years (12.5-17 kg) is 1 suppository administered 3 times a day at intervals of 6-8 hours. For children aged 4-6 years (17-20.5 kg), it is recommended to administer 1 suppository 4 times a day at 6-hour intervals. Do not exceed the daily maximum dose, which is 20-30 mg per kg of body weight, divided into 3-4 single doses.
The maximum single dose of 10 mg per kg body weight should not be exceeded.
The drug is intended for short use.
Action
The product has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
The drug should not be used in the first 6 months of pregnancy, and in the next 3 months it must not be used.
Influence on fertility
Ibuprofen may temporarily adversely affect female fertility. This effect disappears with the end of the therapy.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Ibufen Baby is intended for children over 2 years of age.
Do not use the drug in children weighing less than 12.5 kg.
