Indications
Immuferin is a dietary supplement intended to supplement the daily diet with inulin and lactoferrin.
Action
Immuferin is a combination of lactoferrin and inulin. Lactoferrin is a global protein that occurs under physiological conditions in colostrum and breast milk. Thanks to it, the newborn receives nutrients and antibacterial protection. Lactoferrin is part of non-specific (innate) immunity, creating the body’s first line of defense against pathogens. Lactoferrin is present on mucous membranes and their immediate vicinity, guarding against pathogenic microorganisms entering the body. It has immunomodulatory, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. Its deficiency/lack may lead to short-term impairment of the body’s defense functions and increased susceptibility to upper respiratory tract infections. Another ingredient of the supplement is inulin with probiotic properties. It is a polysaccharide whose main advantage is supporting the population of beneficial bacteria cultures – Lactobaccillus and Biidobacterium. Inulin is resistant to the action of human digestive enzymes, which means that it reaches the large intestine in an undigested form, where it undergoes fermentation and becomes food for the intestinal flora. Nourished bifidobacteria contribute to better intestinal functioning and strengthen the immune system. Probably, under the influence of inulin, the risk of hormone-dependent cancers, such as prostate or breast cancer, is reduced. Moreover, inulin, through its beneficial effect on the intestinal flora, also affects the bioavailability of some minerals: magnesium, calcium, zinc and iron. Their better absorption has a positive effect on proper bone mineralization during puberty and menopause.
Dosage
Infants over 1 month of age and children up to 3 years of age – 1 capsule a day.
Pour the contents of the capsule and mix it with a small amount of drink or food.
Children over 3 years of age – 1 capsule a day orally or after dissolving in lukewarm liquid.
Do not pour the contents of the capsule into hot liquid.
Adults – 2 capsules a day.”
