Sinus rinsing is easy to do. Children can use IRIGASIN JUNIOR on their own only under the supervision of an adult.
Isotonic sodium chloride solution cleanses the nasal cavities from residual secretions, bacteria, viruses and allergens, and also cares for the nose and sinuses in the case of:
– acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses,
– rhinitis due to infection or allergy,
– before and after nose and sinus surgery,
– after exposure to high concentrations of dust in the air,
– preventively to maintain proper nose and sinus hygiene.
An additional advantage of the isotonic solution is the moisturizing effect on the nasal mucosa that is dried as a result of long-term use of nasal medications or as a result of staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated rooms.
Hypertonic sodium chloride solution, in addition to its cleansing effect, due to the higher concentration of the active substance, has osmotic properties that reduce the swelling of the mucous membrane. It is therefore recommended for nasal swelling associated with rhinitis due to infection or allergy (hay fever), as well as sinusitis.
