“Contraindications
• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. To avoid the possibility of cross-sensitivity, the drug should not be prescribed to patients in whom acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have resulted in asthma, rhinitis, urticaria or other allergic manifestations. • Pregnancy. • Breastfeeding • Children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
Dosage
2-4 applications per day on the sore side. Elderly patients should adhere to the minimum doses indicated above. Apply a thin layer of gel to the part to be treated with a gentle massage. You can use the medicine for a shorter period. Clean your hands thoroughly and for a long time after use.
Warnings and Precautions
It is advisable to avoid using LASONIL PAINKILLERS in the area of open wounds or broken skin. The use of LASONIL PAIN RELIEF, like any drug that is an inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis and cyclooxygenase, is not recommended in women who wish to become pregnant. Administration of LASONIL PAINKILLERS should be suspended in women who have fertility problems or who are undergoing fertility testing. The use of LASONIL PAINKILLERS, especially if prolonged, can lead to local sensitization phenomena: at the first appearance of skin rash, mucosal lesions or any other signs of hypersensitivity, stop treatment and take appropriate therapeutic measures. In order to prevent more serious phenomena of hypersensitivity or photosensitivity, the patient should not be exposed to direct sunlight, including sunbathing, during treatment and for two weeks thereafter. In the event of allergic reactions or adverse reactions of greater significance (skin reactions, some of which are fatal, such as exfoliative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis) therapy should be discontinued immediately (see paragraph 4.8). Patients appear to be at higher risk in the early stages of therapy: the onset of skin reactions occurs in most cases within the first month of treatment. Do not use LASONIL PAIN KILLERS together with another NSAID or, in any case, do not use more than NSAIDs at the same time. Important information about some of the ingredients of LASONIL PAIN KILLERS: the medicinal product contains sodium para-ossibenzoato methyl and sodium para-ossibenzoato ethyl, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).”
