“yoton gel 100000 is a dermal (skin) gel containing the drug heparin in the form of sodium salt. It belongs to the group of drugs for venous diseases and is also suitable for the treatment of inflammatory or traumatic conditions.
It is used to treat:
diseases of the superficial vessels, such as syndromes associated with varicose veins (varicose veins) and associated complications, inflammation of the deep veins (phlebothrombosis), superficial inflammation of the veins (thrombophlebitis), inflammation of the wall of the vein or around the vein (superficial periphlebitis), leg ulcers ,
postoperative inflammation of varicose veins (postoperative varicophlebitis), complications after surgical removal of superficial saphenous veins on the lower extremities (saphenectomy),
injuries and bruises (hematomas), local swelling and infiltrates (tissue with accumulated fluid), subcutaneous bruises,
injuries of the musculotendinous and capsular ligamentous apparatus.
After application, the gel penetrates the skin and acts against swelling, inflammation, effusion and reduces blood clotting.

Lyoton gel is a colorless, almost transparent gel in an aluminum tube with a varnish inner layer and a polyethylene screw cap.
Drug substance and its quantity
The active ingredient is sodium heparin. 1 g of gel contains 1000 IU (international units) of sodium heparin.
Excipients: carbomer 940, ethanol 95%, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate, orange silica (containing linalool, d-limonene, geraniol, citral, citronellol and farnesol), lavender silica (containing linalool, d-limonene, geraniol ). and coumarin), trolamine, purified water.
