Indications and action:
Lioton 1000 gel is a drug for use on the skin, which, thanks to the content of heparin, has local anticoagulant, anti-swelling and anti-inflammatory effects.
The heparin contained in the preparation improves microcirculation, thanks to which Lioton 1000 has an anti-swelling effect. Moreover, the drug has local antithrombotic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Lioton 1000 is used as an adjunct in the treatment of: superficial vein diseases, such as: phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins of the lower limbs, subcutaneous hematomas, contusions, and swelling.

Dosage:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Lioton 1000 is applied to the skin once to 3 times a day, applying a 3-10 cm long strip of gel to the skin surface and gently massaging until the gel is absorbed. In case of swelling after injuries, it is recommended to use the drug for up to 10 days, and in the case of treatment of superficial vein diseases – for 1 to 2 weeks.
Composition:
Sodium heparin (Heparinum natricum), carbomer 940, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethanol 96%, lavender oil, orange oil, triethanolamine, purified water. 1g of gel contains 8.5 mg (1000 IU) sodium heparin.
