“Indications
The drug is used to treat sudden short-term (acute) attacks of diarrhea in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. The medicine should not be used for more than 2 days without consulting a doctor.
If after 2 days of use the patient does not feel any improvement or feels worse, you should consult a doctor.
Active ingredient: Loperamidium hydrochloride.

Active substance
The active ingredient is loperamide hydrochloride.
Each hard capsule contains 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride.

Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate.
Capsule shell – body and cap: titanium dioxide (E 171), gelatin, water.
Ink: shellac, black iron oxide (E 172).
Dosage
Always use this medication exactly as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults, seniors and teenagers over 12 years of age.
How to take:
Capsules should be swallowed whole with water.
Dosage and frequency of administration:
After the first loose stool (stool), take 2 capsules with water.
After each subsequent loose stool, take 1 capsule.
Sachets containing powder for the preparation of an oral solution to prevent dehydration (electrolyte solution). They are available as a separate product.
Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
Do not take more than 6 capsules within 24 hours.
If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours, stop taking the capsules and consult a doctor.
Lost fluid should be replaced by drinking more fluid than usual.
Do not exceed the recommended dose
Contraindications
When should you not use Loperamide Aurovitas?
If you are allergic to loperamide or any other ingredient of this medicine. Hypersensitivity can be recognized, for example, by skin rashes, itching, chest tightness or a swollen face. If these symptoms occur, stop taking Loperamide Aurovitas and contact your doctor.
In children under 12 years of age.
You should not use Loperamide Aurovitas if you have megacolon (severely dilated colon), acute megacolon (acute toxic colitis with dilated colon) and intestinal obstruction, a serious situation that can occur in patients with Hirschsprung’s disease, Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis , due to very painful bloating, fever and rapid heartbeat.
If you suffer from an intestinal obstruction that causes watery stools to leak. This occurs with some intestinal disorders.
If you have persistent abdominal pain, a high fever, and/or stool containing mucus and/or blood. These symptoms may be caused by food poisoning or an infection or inflammation of the colon.
If you have bacterial inflammation of the colon and/or small intestine caused by invasive microorganisms, including salmonella, shigella and campylobacter.
If you have severe inflammation of the bowel (such as ulcerative colitis or pseudomembranous colitis caused by certain antibiotics).
In all cases where normal bowel movements should not be suppressed.”
