“Active ingredients: aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide.
100 ml of suspension contains 3.5 g of aluminum hydroxide and 4.0 g of magnesium hydroxide.
Active ingredients: diluted hydrochloric acid, anhydrous citric acid, peppermint oil, mannitol, domiphen bromide, sodium saccharin, sorbitol 70%, hydrogen peroxide 30%, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medication exactly as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Oral product, shake well before use.
1 tablespoon (10 ml) 90 minutes after meals or during pain.
The maximum dose is 140 ml of suspension per day.
Action
Maalox has a local antacid effect in the stomach, is astringent, and protects the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum. Does not cause secondary stimulation of hydrochloric acid secretion and excessive neutralization of stomach contents.”
