Vitamin D is needed for proper bone growth and development in children. Breastfeeding is the best form of nutrition for a baby in the first months after birth. However, the amount of vitamin D in human milk may not be sufficient. Vitamin D is naturally synthesized in the skin when exposed to sunlight. However, due to limited access to sunlight, or in the autumn and winter period, when the synthesis of vitamin D in the child’s skin is inhibited due to less sunlight, it is recommended to supplement vitamin D deficiencies in the child’s daily diet.
Application: dietary supplementation with active ingredients of the preparation.
Recommended intake:children over 1 year of age are recommended even higher supplementation amounts of vitamin D (600 – 1000 IU / 24 h) depending on body weight, in the months of September to April and all year round with insufficient sunlight in the summer. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Ingredients: MCT vegetable oil (medium-chain triglycerides), cholecalciferol (vitamin D), antioxidant: DL-alpha tocopheryl acetate.

Contraindications: if the patient has been diagnosed with hypervitaminosis D (too much vitamin D in the blood). Do not use in the case of tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, some types of lymphomas.
