Pharmaceutical form
Nizoral shampoo is a pink viscous solution with a characteristic odor.
Medicinal substance, its quantity
The active ingredient is ketoconazole (ketoconazole). One gram of shampoo contains 20 milligrams of ketoconazole.
How to use
Nizoral shampoo is intended for the treatment of adolescents and adults. Always use this medication exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Rinse the affected skin thoroughly, leave the shampoo on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse. Be sure to thoroughly wash your skin, not just your hair. A small amount of shampoo squeezed into the palm of your hand is usually enough for one wash.
How often you wash your hair depends on the type of infection and whether you want to treat the infection or prevent it from coming back.
Important Note
Try to avoid getting shampoo into your eyes. If this happens, rinse your eyes with water.
This product can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
