Active ingredients:
Ibuprofen 200 mg
Excipients:
Citric acid monohydrate, Sodium citrate-2-water, Sodium chloride, Sodium saccharin, Sodium ion 9.18 mg, Polysorbate 80, Domifen bromide, Maltitol solution 2226 mg, Glycerin, Xanthan gum, Strawberry flavor, contains propylene glycol. Propylene glycol 16.45 mg, Purified water
Areas of application
The medicine contains the active ingredient ibuprofen, which belongs to a group of active ingredients called non-al anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by relieving the symptoms of pain and fever.
The medicine is used for short-term symptomatic treatment of:
High fever
mild or moderate pain
Consult a doctor if your child’s symptoms do not improve or worsen:
in children aged 3-5 months and weighing from 5 kg after 24 hours or
for children from 6 months after 3 days.
Dosage
Recommended dose for pain and fever:
Child’s body weight (age): from 5 kg (3-5 months)
Single dose and method of administration: 1 x 1.25 ml (equivalent to 50 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose (within 24 hours)*: 3 times.
Child’s body weight (age): 7-9 kg (6-11 months)
Single dose and method of administration: 1 x 1.25 ml (equivalent to 50 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose (within 24 hours)*: 3-4 times.
Child’s body weight (age): 10-15 kg (1-3 years)
Single dose and method of administration: 1 x 2.5 ml (equivalent to 100 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose (within 24 hours)*: 3 times.
Child’s body weight (age): 16-19 kg (4-5 years)
Single dose and method of administration: 1 x 3.75 ml (equivalent to 150 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose (within 24 hours)*: 3 times.
Child’s body weight (age): 20-29 kg (6-9 years)
Single dose and method of administration: 1 x 5 ml (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose (within 24 hours)*: 3 times.
Children’s body weight (age): 30 – 40 kg (10 – 12 years)
Single dose and method of administration: 1 x 7.5 ml (equivalent to 300 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum daily dose (within 24 hours)*: 3 times.
*Single doses should be administered approximately every 6-8 hours.
Use in children under 3 months or weighing less than 5 kg is not recommended.
For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the product during meals.
Caution: Do not exceed the indicated dosages.
Duration of use:
This medicine is intended for short-term use only.
In children aged 6 months and older, if use of the medicine is required for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
Children aged 3-5 months (from 5 kg body weight) should consult a doctor within 24 hours if symptoms persist.
If symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used in children:
who are allergic to ibuprofen, other similar painkillers (NSAIDs), wheat starch or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6;
who have a history of shortness of breath, asthma attacks, runny nose, swelling of the face and/or hands or skin reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other NSAIDs;
with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID therapy;
with current or history of recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least two different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding);
if you have severe liver or kidney problems;
if your heart muscle is very weak (heart failure);
if you have a bleeding in your brain (cerebrovascular hemorrhage) or other active bleeding;
if you have a bleeding disorder, as ibuprofen may prolong bleeding time;
if you have unexplained problems with blood formation;
if you are severely dehydrated (caused by vomiting, diarrhea, or not drinking enough fluids).
Do not take this medicine during the last 3 months of pregnancy.”
