“The drug is available in powder form in sachets for the preparation of an oral solution containing 3 ingredients: paracetamol, phenylephrine and vitamin C. The first of these substances is responsible for the analgesic and antipyretic effect of the drug. The second one clears his nose. Vitamin C replenishes the deficiency that may occur at the onset of infection. Coldrex MaxGrip comprehensively combats cold or flu symptoms such as chills, fever, headache, sore throat and acute rhinitis.
Compound:
The active ingredients of the drug are paracetamol (Paracetamolum), phenylephrine hydrochloride (Phenylephrin Hydroloridum), ascorbic acid (Acidum ascorbicum).
1 sachet contains 1000 mg of paracetamol, 10 mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride and 40 mg of ascorbic acid.
Excipients: sucrose, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, corn starch, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, anhydrous colloidal silica, lemon flavor, curcumin (E100).
Indications and action:
Coldrex MaxGrip is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of influenza or colds with fever, chills, headache, sore throat and rhinitis (runny nose).
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 sachet every 4–6 hours.
Do not take the medicine more often than every 4 hours and do not use more than 4 sachets per day.
Always use the lowest effective dose possible.
Contraindications:
When you should not use Coldrex MaxGrip:
if you are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, ascorbic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
in people with liver failure or severe renal failure,
in people suffering from alcoholism,
in people taking medications to treat HIV infection,
Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
Warnings and Precautions:
Do not use with other medicines containing paracetamol and/or sympathomimetics.
Before using the drug, you should consult a doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, patients with low body weight or exhaustion, or patients who regularly drink alcohol.
1 sachet contains 129.15 mg of sodium, which should be taken into account by patients with reduced kidney function and patients who control the sodium content in their diet.
1 sachet contains 3.73 g of sucrose. If you have previously been diagnosed with intolerance to certain sugars, you should consult a doctor before taking the drug.
