Opticron eye drops are indicated for allergic conjunctivitis, an eye disease of allergic origin.
The active ingredient is sodium cromoglicate dosed at 0.007 g for a single dose of 0.35 ml, with sodium chloride and water for injections as excipients.
The box contains 24 single-dose containers.
Dosage of Opticron single-dose antihistamine eye drops
The dosage of Opticron eye drops depends on the severity of the symptoms. You should instill one drop in each eye, 2 to 6 times a day, at regular intervals.
Medical advice is required in children.
You should wash your hands thoroughly before instilling.
A single dose contains a sufficient amount of eye drops to treat both eyes.
Instill a drop of eye drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye while looking upwards and pulling the lower eyelid slightly downwards. You should avoid contact of the tip of the bottle with the eye or eyelids.
Single doses should not be reused and will therefore be discarded after opening.
