Composition
One capsule contains the following active substances in powdered form: auklandia root 40mg Iceland lichen thallus 40mg neem fruit 35mg cardamom fruit 30mg almond fruit 30mg red sandalwood 30mg spice fruit 25mg marmelos fruit 20mg columbine herb 15mg licorice root 15mg plantain leaf 15mg, knotweed herb bird’s eye 15mg golden cinquefoil herb 15mg carnation flower 12mg kaempferia galanga rhizome 10mg sida cordifolia herb 10mg valerian root 10mg lettuce leaf 6mg marigold flower 5mg and calcium sulphate hemihydrate 20mg D-camphor 4mg
Additionally, the drug contains colloidal anhydrous silica and beef gelatin.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Supportively to strengthen the immune system
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 capsule 3 times a day.
Children over 12 years of age and adults: 2 capsules 2 times a day.
In symptoms of circulatory failure
The initial dose for adults is 2 capsules 3 times a day. After getting better
clinically, the dose may be gradually reduced to 1 or 2 capsules a day.
Action
The drug reduces the incidence of infections. It alleviates symptoms such as: feeling of tired and heavy legs, cold feet and hands, tingling and numbness, calf cramps and leg pain when walking.
Indications
The medicinal product PADMA 28 Formula is used as an adjunct to strengthen the immune system, e.g. in the prevention of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections, in recurring cold illnesses and their symptoms.
Contraindications
When not to use PADMA 28 Formula:
You should not use the medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the active substances or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.
Do not use in people with hypersensitivity to plants from the Asteraceae family (Asteraceae, formerly Compositae).
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Uncommon side effects
• mild digestive system problems (such as indigestion, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea)
• skin reactions (such as rash or itching)
Warnings and precautions
If you use the product to strengthen your immune system:
If symptoms worsen or do not improve, contact your doctor or pharmacist. If you experience other disturbing symptoms, e.g. fever, shortness of breath, purulent sputum, you should also contact your doctor.
When using the product in patients with symptoms of circulatory failure:
If your current symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of use, consult your doctor. If you experience other symptoms in the lower limbs such as dermatitis, thrombophlebitis or subcutaneous induration, severe pain, ulceration, sudden swelling of one or both legs, heart or kidney failure, you should consult a doctor as this may indicate an exacerbation of symptoms diseases.
Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
You should leave an interval of 1 to 2 hours between taking PADMA 28 Formula and taking other medicines
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
For pregnant or breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before using the medicine.
Do not take PADMA 28 Formula if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
To strengthen the immune system, do not use in children under 6 years of age.
In case of symptoms of circulatory failure, do not use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
