Phosphalugel is an antacid medication in the form of an oral solution in a sachet, which helps reduce stomach acidity. It is therefore indicated for pain, soreness and burning of the stomach or esophagus.
Its active substance is 20% colloidal aluminum phosphate gel, dosed at 12.380 g for 1 sachet.
The other components of its formula are: calcium sulfate dihydrate, pectin, agar-agar 800, orange flavor*, potassium sorbate, 70% non-crystallizable sorbitol syrup, and purified water.
The composition of the orange flavor, for its part, is as follows: bitter orange essence alcoholates, bitter orange essence alcoholates, terpeneless sweet orange essential oils, terpeneless bitter orange essential oils, ethyl alcohol.
