When not to use the Senes patch
– if you are allergic to the active substance (senna leaves);
– if you have obstruction and stenosis, atony (stasis) of the intestine, appendicitis, inflammatory diseases of the colon (for example, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis)

Warnings and Precautions
– Avoid long-term use of laxatives. Using the drug for more than 7 days can lead to disruption of intestinal function and the development of addiction.
– If you need to use laxatives every day, talk to your doctor about the cause of your constipation.
– The medicine should only be used if the therapeutic effect cannot be achieved by changing the diet or using stool softening fillers.
– Patients taking cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmic drugs, drugs that prolong the QT interval, diuretics, adrenocorticos, or products containing licorice root should consult a physician before using senna leaves.
– The drug should not be used by people suffering from stool retention or with undiagnosed acute or persistent problems of the digestive system, such as abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, unless otherwise advised by a doctor.
– In patients with impaired renal function, the use of preparations containing senna leaves may cause electrolyte imbalance.
– When using senna leaves in people with incontinence, clothing or personal care products should be changed more frequently to reduce skin contact with feces.
If symptoms worsen while taking the medicine, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Children
Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Sens fix and other drugs
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or plan to take any other medicines.
Long-term use of the drug may cause loss of potassium ions (hypokalemia) and lead to increased effects of cardiac glycosides and interactions with antiarrhythmic drugs. Concomitant use of diuretics, adrenocorticos and products containing licorice root may increase potassium loss.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
Use in pregnant and lactating women is contraindicated.
There is no data on the effect on fertility.
Driving and using cars
Studies of the effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery have not been conducted.

What does the Senes fix contain?
– The active ingredient is senna leaf. Each sachet contains 1 g of dried senna leaves, obtained from various species of Cassia senna L. (C. acutifolia Delile) or Cassia angustifolia Vahl, foliolum (senna leaf).
Each sachet contains 1 g of senna leaf, corresponding to 25-30 mg of hydroxyanthracene glycosides, expressed as sennoside B.”
