“Famotidine Ranigast is used for heartburn, hyperacidity and indigestion. The therapeutic effect of the drug lasts from 10 to 12 hours.
How to use the medicine?
Always use this medication exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The medicine is intended for oral use. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water. The usual dosage of Famotidine Ranigast in adults is 1 tablet at the onset of symptoms. Alternatively, you can take a second tablet if symptoms recur. The maximum daily dose of the drug is 2 tablets.
The medicine should not be used for more than 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. If symptoms do not disappear after 2 weeks of treatment, you should consult a doctor immediately.
IMPORTANT
Patients with impaired renal function should consult a doctor before using the drug.
What does the medicine contain?
The active ingredient is famotidine.
1 film-coated tablet contains famotidine 20 mg.
Excipients: tablet core: pregelatinized starch, powdered cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc. Tablet shell: hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide, macrogol 6000, cochineal red varnish (E124).
