The drug Povidone Iodine Teva is a local antiseptic formulated with iodine. It is used to locally treat skin and mucous membrane conditions that are infected or susceptible to infection. It is also used as an antiseptic , in the case of superficial wounds or burns of little extent, and for the antisepsis of the skin of the surgical field.

This solution for cutaneous application contains 10 g of Povidone iodine per 100 ml of solution. The other ingredients are nonoxynol 9, glycerol, sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, 30% sodium hydroxide solution and purified water.

Le médicament Povidone iodée Teva est un local antiseptique formulé avec de l’iode. Il est utilisé pour traiter localement les affections cutanées et muqueuses infectées ou susceptibles d’être infectées. Il est également utilisé comme antiseptique , dans le cas de plaies superficielles ou brûlures de peu d’étendue, et pour l’antisepsie de la peau du champ opératoire.

Cette solution pour application cutanée contient 10 g de Povidone iodée pour 100 ml de solution. Les autres composants sont le nonoxynol 9, le glycérol, l’hydrogénophosphate de sodium dihydraté, l’acide citrique monohydraté, une solution d’hydroxyde de sodium à 30 % et de l’eau purifiée.
