“Composition
The active substance is levodropropizine.
Each ml of oral solution contains 6 mg levodropropizine.
Other ingredients: sodium citrate (Ph.Eur.), citric acid monohydrate, hypromellose, sucralose, potassium sorbate (Eur.Ph.), raspberry flavor (contains flavors, maltodextrin (corn) and acacia [E414]), purified. water.
Levodrop-ratiopharm cough medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
The recommended dose is a single 10 ml of Levododrop-ratiopharm (equivalent to 60 mg levodropropizine) up to three times a day. However, at least 6 hours must pass before the next dose.
Use in children aged 2 to 12 years.
The recommended dose is a total daily dose of 0.5 ml of oral solution per kilogram of body weight (equivalent to 3 mg levodropropizine/kg body weight). The total daily dose is divided into 3 separate doses at intervals of at least 6 hours. The following table can serve as a guide for single and daily dosage:

In especially justified cases, the total daily dose can be increased to 1 ml of oral solution per kg of body weight.
Method of administration:
Levodrop-ratiopharm cough medicine is taken orally.
It is recommended to take the medicine between meals.
The package includes a 25 ml measuring cup with measuring lines that can be used to measure the oral solution.
Duration of use:
Take the medicine until the cough stops. Levodop-ratiopharm cough medicine should not be taken for longer than 7 days. If the cough persists or gets worse, seek medical advice.
Levodop-ratiopharm cough medicine should not be taken.
if you are allergic to levodropropizine or any of the other ingredients of the medicine listed in section 6;
if you have a productive cough (cough with sputum);
if you have a type of respiratory disease in which the ability to produce sputum is reduced (Kartagener syndrome, ciliary dyskinesia);
if you have severe liver dysfunction;
children under 2 years of age;
if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.”
