“Antiallergenic rhinazine is used to treat short-term symptoms of allergic rhinitis in adults, adolescents, and children over six years of age.
Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or feel worse after a short period of treatment.
Do not use anti-allergy rhinazine:
– if you are allergic to azelastine hydrochloride or any other part of this medicine
– in children under 6 years of age
– during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Warnings and Precautions:
If symptoms persist or worsen during treatment, consult your doctor.
The drug should not be used by children under 6 years of age.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or may take any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Do not use anti-allergy rhinazine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use should also be avoided if you suspect pregnancy or are planning to become pregnant.
Benzalkonium chloride (BAC), contained as a preservative in the antiallergenic rhinazine, can cause swelling of the nasal mucosa, especially with long-term use. If this reaction (persistent nasal congestion) is suspected, a nasal preparation without BAC should be used if possible. If such nasal medications without BAC are not available, another dosage form should be considered. This can cause bronchospasm – a narrowing of the bronchi caused by contraction of the smooth muscles of the bronchi. This narrowing of the bronchi causes difficulty breathing due to reduced air passage. There may be wheezing and wheezing breathing, and sometimes even a dry and persistent cough.
Application:
Adults and children 6 years and older:
Recommended dose: spray (0.14 mg) dosed into each nostril 1 or 2 times daily, equal to 0.28 – 0.56 mg of azelastine hydrochloride per day.
The 10 ml bottle provides a total dosage of 72 sprays.
During application, the head should be in an upright position. Remove the cap and spray into each nostril while squeezing the opposite nostril. After use, close the protective cap.
Warning:
– do not exceed the indicated doses without consulting a doctor;
– use this medicine only for short periods of treatment;
– Consult your doctor if the disorder occurs repeatedly or if you notice any recent change in its characteristics.
In case of accidental ingestion/overdose, notify your doctor immediately.
Compound:
Each ml of solution contains 1 mg of azelastine hydrochloride. Other ingredients: hypromellose, disodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride solution, anhydrous citric acid, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, purified water.”
