“Composition:
Each 5 ml of elixir contains:
Liquid extract of thyme leaves and flowers 0.325 g
Liquid extract of primrose 0.162 g
Ethyl alcohol concentration: 0.185 g
Sodium benzoate – 0.012 g
Properties:
Expectorant of plant origin. It has an expectorant and mucolytic effect.
Indications:
As a symptomatic agent in the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with difficult to separate sputum.
Method of administration and dosage:
Children over 5 years old, adolescents and adults: take 7.5 ml four times a day (Total daily dose 30 ml).
Children from 1 year to 4 years (from 8 to 16 kg): 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 6 times a day (Total daily dose 15 ml).
Children from 6 to 12 months (from 6 to 10 kg): take 1 ml 6 times a day (Total daily dose 6 ml).
Bronchicum elixir should be taken in equal doses at equal intervals during the day.
The duration of administration depends on the current symptoms.
If the symptoms do not go away within one week, you should consult a doctor.
Contraindications:
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.
Children under 6 months.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Chronic heart failure (in the decompensation stage).
Severe liver and kidney dysfunction.
Precautions:
