“A transparent, viscous liquid of yellow or yellowish-brown color with a sweetish and slightly bitter taste – for oral administration.
Drug substance and its quantity
Active ingredients: citra butamirate 4 mg and guaifenesin 100 mg in 1 ml (1 ml = 34 drops).
How to use
Always take this medicine exactly as directed on the package or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless the doctor determines otherwise, the drug is dosed depending on the patient’s weight:

The maximum daily dose of guaifenesin for children under 2 years of age is 300 mg/day (102 drops), for children from 2 to 6 years of age 600 mg/day (204 drops), from 6 to 12 years of age 1200 mg/day and for adults and children from 12 years 2400 mg/day.
The dose is dripped from the bottle in an upright position, upside down, into water, tea or fruit juice. For a 50 ml package, the dose is measured using a dosing pipette, if one is included in the package (see Instructions for use of the plastic dosing pipette). The minimum fluid intake should be approximately 100 ml each time the drops are used. It is taken after meals.
What to watch out for
Taking the drug during pregnancy is possible only in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters; it is also possible to take it during breastfeeding, but the drug should always be taken in consultation with a doctor.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
If you suffer from a wet or persistent cough associated with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, you should not be treated with the combination of butamirate and guaifenesin contained in this medicine.
