Active substance per 1 g cream:
10 mg ciclopirox-olamine = 7.72 mg ciclopirox.
Other ingredients: thick paraffin, white petrolatum (= butylhydroxytoluene), polysorbate 60, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) coconut fatty acid amide, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol, sorbitan stearate, myristyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, lactic acid, purified water
Ciclopirox fights not only living fungal cells, but also spores that can cause reoccurrence of infection. Ciclopirox also has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. Unpleasant symptoms such as redness and itching disappear within a few days.
Application areas: All fungal skin diseases.
Warning: Contains cetyl and stearyl alcohol, local skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis) may occur.
Application
Selergo® 1% cream should be applied to the affected skin areas twice a day for fungal infections, rubbed in gently and allowed to air dry. It is recommended to use after washing, showering or bathing to allow the cream to act for a sufficient period of time. Treatment should be continued until skin symptoms disappear (usually 2 weeks). To avoid relapse, it is recommended to continue using for another 1 – 2 weeks.
Tips
Contains: cetyl and stearyl alcohol.
Cetyl and stearyl alcohol: local skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis) may occur.
Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton or outer packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of the stated month.”
