“Indications
The preparation is used as a tear substitute in dry eye diseases, such as keratoconjunctivitis sicca, Sjögren’s syndrome, and in the prevention and treatment of ailments occurring in these diseases. The preparation is indicated for the temporary reduction of burning and irritation resulting from dry eyes; as a means of protecting against irritation and temporarily reducing the feeling of discomfort associated with mild eye irritation or exposure to sun and wind.”
