It is used as part of a general therapeutic concept in cases of progressive decline or loss of acquired mental abilities (dementia syndrome) with the main complaints: memory impairment, impaired concentration, depression, dizziness, tinnitus, headaches.
Before starting treatment with this medicine, it is necessary to find out whether the symptoms are associated with an underlying disease that requires specific treatment.
to increase the distance of pain-free walking in occlusive disease of the arteries of the extremities, the so-called “”intermittent claudication”” (intermittent claudication in stage II according to Fontan) as part of physiotherapy measures, in particular walking training.
for dizziness due to circulatory disorders or age-related regression processes (vertigo of vascular and involutional genesis, age-related dizziness).
for maintenance treatment of tinnitus due to circulatory disorders or age-related regression processes (tinnitus of vascular and involutional origin).
Dosage
Adults aged 18 years and over should take:
For the symptomatic treatment of organic disorders of the brain:
1 film-coated tablet twice a day.
The duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks.
After 3 months, the doctor should check whether continued treatment is justified.
To increase the duration of pain-free walking in diseases of the peripheral arteries:
1 film-coated tablet 1-2 times a day.
To improve walking performance over a distance, a treatment period of at least 6 weeks is required.
For dizziness and for the treatment of tinnitus:
1 film-coated tablet 1-2 times a day.
In case of dizziness, use for 6-8 weeks does not lead to an improvement in treatment results. Maintenance treatment of tinnitus should be carried out for at least 12 weeks. If after 6 months there is no success, this can no longer be expected even with longer treatment.
It is taken twice a day in the morning and evening and once a day in the morning.
Tebonin ® Intense should not be taken.
