“Compound
The active ingredient is ambroxol hydrochloride. 5 ml of syrup (1 scoop) contains 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride. – Other ingredients of the drug: liquid sorbitol 70% (E420), glycerin (E422), citric acid monohydrate (E330), propylene glycol (E1520), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), raspberry flavor, purified water.
Indications
Ambrosol Teva is indicated for acute and chronic respiratory diseases that cause difficulty in expectorating viscous bronchial secretions, such as:
acute and chronic bronchitis,
bronchial asthma,
cystic fibrosis,
emphysema,
bronchiectasis.
Action
Teva Ambrosol syrup contains the active substance ambroxol hydrochloride. Increases the amount of mucus in the respiratory tract, reduces its viscosity, accelerates the transport of secretions into the respiratory tract, which facilitates expectoration and relieves coughing.
Dosage:
Always take Ambrosol Teva exactly as your doctor prescribed. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Take the medicine orally after meals. Do not take the medicine immediately before bed. Adults and children over 12 years old. years: initially, for 2–3 days, take 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride (5 ml of syrup, i.e. 1 measuring spoon) 3 times a day; then the dose should be reduced to 30 mg (5 ml syrup, i.e. 1 measuring spoon) 2 times a day. Children aged 6 to 12 years: 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride (2.5 ml syrup, i.e. half measuring spoon) 2 times. up to 3 times a day. Children aged 2 to 6 years: 7.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride (1.25 ml syrup, i.e. ¼ scoop) 3 times a day. Do not use in children without consulting a doctor. Contraindications
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ambroxol hydrochloride, bromhexine or any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. Side effects
